It has been 133 years since Morton's Academy ( One-Room Schoolhouse ) first opened its doors. Built in 1880 and used until the mid 1920's . Generations have come and gone and the schoolhouse remains . The old school bell rings out once more and the little one-room schoolhouse with its memories and memorabilia is ready for visitors . Come visit Morton's Academy ( One-Room Schoolhouse ) . A museum of education ot the late 1880's through the mid 1920's .
