The restoration of Morton's One-Room Schoolhouse begain in the year of 1996 and completed in the year of 2013 . The restoration work was slow in the begaining . First the outside of the building had to be restored . This took some time and a lot of work . After the outside restoration was completed , the work was slow at first on the interior . The restoration was completed in the year 2013 . This slide show starts from the year 1995 when the building was being prepared for the move to the new site two miles away. The side show shows the restoration process from the begaining to the end of the restoration of the exterior.
